Bleed
is a printers description for the area
around the edges of artwork where colour
cannot be printed. Although
mechnically operated, the cutting process
is never 100% accurate, so to be safe,
you should submit your artwork with
an excess of 2.5mm each side. Further
to this, it would be a good idea to
place important text and images away
from any printable edges.
